Concept and structure of hover board

 Concept: hover board, also known as self-balance car, body-sensing car, thinking car. Its working principle is derived from a basic principle called “Dynamic Stability”, which is specifically combined with MEMS technology and motor control technology to detect the inclination angle of the hover board and output signals through the cooperation of the gyroscope and acceleration sensor located inside the hover board in the MEMS, The output signals of the gyroscope and acceleration sensor are input to the controller after the complementary filtering and fusion. The controller calculates the hover board control quantity through the corresponding algorithm and drives the motor to work with the control quantity, thus completing the forward, backward and steering of the electric hover board.

The theoretical model of the electric hover board comes from the inverted pendulum system. Because the electric hover board can move on the ordinary road, the electric hover board can also be called a mobile inverted pendulum.

Structure: There are many types of electric hover board on the market, but on the whole, the system structure of electric hover board mainly includes the following parts:

1. Electronic self-balancing system, including gyroscope, acceleration sensor, controller, etc;

2. Drive system, including motor, drive structure, etc;

3. Battery;

4. The vehicle body and other auxiliary components can include pedals, wheels, mudguards or display screens.
